CPD & Practice Engagement Series
Recurring Practice Opportunities
Alongside our CPD masterclasses and Q&A sessions, students have the chance to take part in recurring, hands-on practice opportunities across NHS Forth Valley and community settings. These aren't one-off visits, students commit to a six-week block, building a genuine, sustained relationship with the setting and the clinicians they work alongside.
How it works
Opportunities are offered in two ways. A small number of places are offered directly to identified students, based on their stage of learning and the needs of the setting. The remainder are advertised openly to the whole cohort each term, and places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Whichever route you come through, taking part means committing to attend consistently for the full six weeks, behaving professionally throughout, and letting the team know as early as possible if you can't make a session.
